The fourth quarter of 2025 confirmed that Estonia’s foreign trade has returned to a growth trajectory. Both exports and imports increased compared to earlier periods, and the end of the year showed strong economic activity in the European Union’s internal market and more broadly. In this dynamic, Estonia’s trade with Poland plays a significant role — a relationship that is large in volume, structurally imbalanced, but strategically important.

Poland is one of Estonia’s most important trading partners. Annual trade volumes reach between €1.2–1.3 billion, and the trend has remained steadily upward in recent years. This is a significant figure, proving that ties between Estonia and Poland are not only cultural or political but also firmly rooted in economics and logistics.
